About MGP
Located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, MGP was established in 2002 by Managing Director, Marc Gaudry.
With many years of experience as a plumber Marc moved into the field of design, firstly working for a number of leading hydraulic design engineers before starting MGP.
Our experienced team has been designing for over 30 years, providing clients’ with expertise in hydraulic and fire design services.
We are one of a few hydraulic consultants that also hold a licence as a Sydney Water Accredited Water Servicing Co-ordinator (WSC). This means we are able to assist you with project management of design, certification, and approvals across a wide range of Sydney Water development and building requirements.
We employ talented professionals who are collaborative, creative, and dedicated. Our team is equipped with a comprehensive range of engineering design tools; the latest in 2D and 3D modelling and drafting software, along with excellent project and delivery management systems.

Marc Gaudry
Managing Director
The founder of MGP, Marc has over 30 years of experience in the building services and infrastructure design.
Marc’s knowledge and experience in the industry is pivotal to the ongoing success and growth of MGP. Marc’s involvement in all key projects ensures his high standards are met and clients’ expectations are delivered upon.
Having built an experienced team in the office, you’ll see Marc out and about with the MGP Inspect team – completing the Sydney Water asset locating, inspecting and certifying work.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: on Manly beach front, enjoying the sunshine, and walking Charlie.
Alex Ross
Director
Alex has over 22 years’ experience in the industry and has been a part of the MGP team for over 15 years.
His expertise spans across hydraulic design, fire design, and Sydney Water infrastructure design.
As a co-Director of MGP, Alex brings his wealth of knowledge to the hydraulic team and heads up the Sydney Water team.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: out on my mountain bike, hanging out with my kids.

Brett Petersen
Associate Hydraulic Engineer
Brett has recently rejoined MGP after a decade away, during which he honed his skills on hydraulic design projects at another consultancy. Now back with the hydraulics team, Brett brings a rich background in the building industry, offering extensive expertise in design and project management. His deep understanding of the entire design and construction process ensures efficient and high-quality project delivery.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: hanging out with my young family, surfing, playing a round of golf and having a beer and burger.
Adam James
Senior Hydraulic Designer
Joining us from many years in the industry, Adam brings not only his wealth of knowledge as a hydraulic designer but an extensive understanding of the building industry. Having worked with Adam for many years, we are delighted to have Adam join the team at MGP.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: sipping caramel skinny latte’s and practicing my parkour skills… or under the bonnet of one of my cars!
Fernando Pinto
Senior Hydraulic Designer
Fernando joined the hydraulics team at the start of 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the building industry. His experience provides the team with immense knowledge of the whole design and building process, enabling a smooth and timely delivery along with excellent design skills.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: with my family, or around the beaches. In spare moments I punch above my weight on renovation projects around the home.
Milan Durdevic
Hydraulic Designer
Milan has been working in the field of hydraulic design for the last 8 years. With a master’s degree in civil engineering his employment experience extends across hydraulics, drainage, water design engineering and spatial planning. Milan joined MGP in 2019 and is a highly valued member of the team.

Martin Sines
BIM Manager & Hydraulic Drafter
Martin has been designing for the last 12 years, after a stint of freelancing we are thrilled that Martin has come back to MGP. Martin will be drafting, along with overseeing the design process, and managing the BIM cooordination and processes.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: with my family on the beach, in the surf or mountain biking around Manly Dam.
Jakob Singer
Hydraulic Drafter / Sydney Water Designer
Jakob joined the hydraulics team in 2023. As a competent designer, and a love of technical drawings, Jakob brings to the team a passion for design and a it-can-be-done attitude.
With his Civil Engineering background Jakob also works on Sydney Water Section 73 and design projects.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: building Lego with my partner, or riding the streets of Sydney on my motorbike.
Caroline Kopplin
Hydraulic Engineer
With over 10 years of experience in Building Services, Drafting, BIM Management, Project Managment and the last 3 years’ as a Revit technician Carol is a great asset to the team.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: enjoying time with my son (before he starts replacing me with his friends), practicing Pickleball, and exploring cafes at the Northern Beaches.
Sibeli Rosner
Hydraulic Engineer
Our newest team member, Sibeli, joins the hydraulics team. With a background in Civil Engineering Sibeli is keen to use her skills and develop as a hydraulic designer.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: enjoying time with my family, walking or running.

Chapel joined the team at the start of 2023, after completing his Certificate III and IV in Plumbing Services. He’s enjoying design under the guidance of team.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: fishing or surfing.

Jack joined the team at the start of 2023, after completing his Certificate III and IV Plumbing Services. Jack is enjoying the challenges of Revit.

Plan Approval Team Leader
Having worked extensively in customer service and the construction industry, Tobin brings a service industry ethos to run the Sydney Water Building Plan Approvals team. Tobin ensures a high level of communication throughout the process, to ensure stakeholders at all levels have an understanding of what’s required to get their project up and running as effectively as possible. Specialising in the Out of Scope assessment space, Tobin works collaboratively with all the required construction disciples to navigate this complex approval process.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: hitting the trails on my mountain bike or cooking up a storm!
Emma Chapel
Sydney Water Building Plan Approval Manager
Emma’s experience of running her own small business and Personal Assistant (PA) work in London meant she initially joined our Financial Admin team. In early 2019 Emma completed an AutoCAD training to assist the Building Plan Approval (BPA) team with the production of the Service Protection Reports. Over the last 3+ years has been managing BPA projects, producing Service Protection Reports and is an essential and experienced member of the team.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: studying ceramics at TAFE.
Daniel Sylvester
Sydney Water Designer
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering. Working as a Product Engineer and a Process Engineer for a few years he moved across into the field of Engineering Design work to work within the busy Sydney Water WSC Design team.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: working out and eating lots of pizza!
Yogeswara Boddapati
Sydney Water Designer / Civil / Stormwater Engineer
Yogeswara joined our team in 2021. With a strong background in Civil Engineering he brings his technical knowledge to the design of Sydney Water infrastructure and processing Section 73. His stormwater experience provides the hydraulic team with additional support when sizing gutters and completing calculations.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: doing various sporting activities; at the moment badminton and cricket.
Daniel Stubbs
Sydney Water Designer / Civil Engineer
We welcomed Daniel to the Sydney Water design team in 2024. With a few years of engineering experience, after leaving uni with a diploma in Civil Engineering and Cert IV in Civil Construction Design, Daniel brings to the team his passion for design and finding solutions.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: playing all kinds of board and video games with my friends and family.
Michelle Loadman
Sydney Water Building Plan approval Manager & Drafter
Michelle recently joined the busy BPA team. As an architectural technologist with 12 years of experience she brings with her a wealth of knowledge, and hands-on experience, from working in Australia, UK and South Africa.
When I’m not working you’ll find me: walking my Golden Retriever, spending time at the beach with my daughter, going for run and gardening.
Harry, Charlie & Marc
MGP Inspect
Our experienced MGP Inspect team, out and about, include and as featured left to right; Harry, Charlie and Marc Gaudry.
Marc, MGP’s MD, is on site with the team to provide a reliable service and provide a wealth of advice.
Harry has been with the team for over 3 years. With a background in plumbing and having completed courses in confined space, working with Sydney Water assets, and Flow Isolation Flow Management Certification, he’s a great asset to the team.
Charlie (featured in the centre with four legs) has been with the team for over 5 years. She’s enthusiastic and fond of treats!
Lesley Nicol
Consultant
Senior WSC Designer
As a Chartered Professional Engineer, and Member of Institute of Engineers Australia, Lesley has a wealth of experience working in the UK, Dubai and Australia as a Civil Engineer. Lesley competently managed and grew the Building Plan Approval team, and in 2017 moved into the WSC Design team for the Major and Minor Works and Sydney Water Section 73 certification. She managed and trained the Section 73 team for 7 years. Lesley continues to work for MGP in a consultant role.
When I’m not working (or running around after my 3 kids at various sporting events) you’ll find me: walking my beautiful dog along various stunning coastal walks.
Admin Team
Alex Cogley
Business Manager
Alex joined MGP as our Business Manager in 2015. With a background and expertise in marketing, and managing small businesses she came on board to support and help grow MGP. Alex is responsible for MGP’s HR requirements, marketing, tenders, new business development opportunities and supporting the Directors.
When I’m not working (or running around after my 3 kids): bush walking with my 2 dogs, teaching and practicing yoga or enjoying a good dance.
Michelle Coates
