About MGP

Located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, MGP was founded in 2002 by Managing Director Marc Gaudry. With extensive experience as a plumber, Marc transitioned into hydraulic design, working with leading engineers before establishing MGP.

Our team brings over 30 years of combined expertise in hydraulic and fire system design, delivering practical, innovative solutions for a wide range of projects. We are one of the few hydraulic consultancies licensed as a Sydney Water Accredited Water Servicing Co-ordinator (WSC), enabling us to manage design, certification, and approvals across a broad spectrum of Sydney Water development and building requirements.

MGP employs collaborative, creative, and dedicated professionals, equipped with advanced engineering tools, including the latest 2D and 3D modelling software, as well as robust project and delivery management systems. We pride ourselves on providing expert guidance and seamless project execution for every client.

Marc Gaudry
Managing Director

Marc, the founder of MGP, brings over 30 years of experience in building services and infrastructure design.

His extensive industry knowledge is central to MGP’s ongoing success and growth. By staying involved in all key projects, Marc ensures the highest standards are upheld and client expectations consistently met.

With a highly experienced team in the office, Marc is often out in the field with the MGP Inspect team, undertaking Sydney Water asset locating, inspections, and certification work.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: on Manly beach front, enjoying the sunshine, and walking Charlie.  

Alex Ross
Director

Alex has over 25 years of industry experience and has been a valued member of the MGP team for 20 years.

His expertise spans hydraulic design, fire design, and Sydney Water infrastructure projects.

As co-Director of MGP, Alex applies his extensive knowledge to lead the hydraulic team and oversees the Sydney Water team.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: out on my mountain bike, hanging out with my kids.

Hydraulic & Fire - Team Lead

Brett rejoined MGP in 2024, after a decade away, during which he honed his skills on hydraulic design projects at another consultancy. Now back with the hydraulics team, Brett brings a rich background in the building industry, offering extensive expertise in design and project management. His deep understanding of the entire design and construction process ensures efficient and high-quality project delivery.

When I’m not working you’ll find me:  hanging out with my young family, surfing, playing a round of golf and having a beer and burger.

Santosh rejoins the team after previously being with us from 2016 to 2022. Following a three-year break, he returns as a highly talented designer, an excellent project manager, and a dedicated mentor. Santosh brings a wealth of experience, resourcefulness, and leadership, consistently delivering exemplary design outcomes while guiding and supporting the team to achieve their best.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: With my family and hanging out with friends.

 

Andre Jacobs

Senior Fire Designer

Joining us after many years in the industry, Andre brings not only his immense knowledge as a fire designer and certifier but also an extensive understanding of the building industry both in Australia and overseas. His diverse experience across a range of projects enables him to deliver innovative, practical solutions while navigating complex regulatory environments with ease.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: Having a “braai” with my family, mandatory gardening and dabbling in home renovations.

 

Milan Durdevic
Hydraulic Designer

Milan has been working in hydraulic design for the past eight years. Holding a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, his experience spans hydraulics, drainage, water design engineering, and spatial planning. Since joining MGP in 2019, Milan has become a highly valued member of the team, contributing his expertise and insight to deliver quality design solutions.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: on holiday 🙂

Martin Sines
Martin Sines
BIM Manager & Hydraulic Drafter

Martin has been working in design for the past 12 years, and after a period of freelancing, we are thrilled to welcome him back to MGP. With extensive experience, reliability, and dedication, Martin will be contributing to drafting, overseeing the design process, and managing BIM coordination and workflows.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: with my family  on the beach, in the surf or mountain biking around Manly Dam.

As an architectural technologist with 12 years of experience, plus an additional 18 months in our ‘Sydney Water’ division, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge, hands-on expertise, and enthusiasm to every project she undertakes.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: walking my Golden Retrievers (old one and new puppy), spending time at the beach with my daughter, going for run and gardening.

Her experience allows her to contribute effectively to design solutions, streamline processes, and support the team in delivering high-quality outcomes.

When I’m not working you’ll find me:  enjoying time with my family, walking or running.

Jack Wildash
Hydraulic Designer

Jack joined the team at the start of 2023, having completed his Certificate III and IV in Plumbing Services and currently undertaking a Diploma in Hydraulics. A capable and talented designer, Jack enjoys collaborating with clients and tackling the challenges of Revit, bringing both skill and enthusiasm to the team.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: on the golf course or at Brookie Oval cheering on the mighty Sea Eagles.

Matt recently joined the team, having completed his Certificate III and IV in Plumbing Services and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Hydraulics. With a strong plumbing background and a growing interest in design, he is enjoying supporting the hydraulic team while expanding his skills in Revit.

When I’m not working you’ll find me:  playing my guitar, and hanging out with my mates.

Sydney Water Building Plan Approval Team Leader

Having worked extensively in customer service and the construction industry, Tobin brings a strong service-oriented approach to his role as Operations Director, overseeing the day-to-day running of MGP. He ensures clear communication at every stage, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned to get projects up and running efficiently. While specialising in Out of Scope assessments, Tobin collaborates closely with all relevant construction disciplines to navigate this complex approval process, combining technical expertise with operational leadership.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: hitting the trails on my mountain bike or cooking up a storm!

Emma Chapel
Sydney Water Building Plan Approval Project Manager

Emma has been part of the BPA team for over seven years, having originally started in the MGP Finance team. She brings a strong background in managing small businesses in London and a wealth of experience in construction, project management, and guiding clients through the Building Plan Approval process. In addition, Emma mentors the BPA team, sharing her expertise and supporting the professional growth of her colleagues.


When I’m not at working you’ll find me: Studying ceramics at TAFE, enjoying time with my family and friends.

Daniel Sylvester
Senior Sydney Water Designer

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and began his career as a Product and Process Engineer before transitioning into Engineering Design. He now contributes his expertise within the busy Sydney Water WSC Design team. A senior designer, Daniel is highly competent, committed, and valued for his technical skill and dedication to delivering quality outcomes.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: working out and eating lots of pizza!

Senior Sydney Water Designer / Civil Engineer

Having worked for 10 years as a Civil Engineer and Construction Project Manager, Carlos has developed a strong focus on infrastructure design as a WSC. He brings a wealth of Sydney Water experience in both design and project management. A senior designer, key team player, and mentor, Carlos is highly valued for his expertise, leadership, and guidance within the team.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: playing soccer, working out, dancing and learning languages.

Callum Van Schie
Sydney Water Trainee Designer / BPA Project Manager

Callum brings to the team an eye for detail and quick, smart, thinking (he’s at uni studying Mechatronics); having completed a year in the Building Plan Approval team, he has recently started his training in Sydney Water design within the  WSC Section 73 team.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: studying (at UNSW) or bouldering.

Josh joined the team at the start of 2026. With a strong background in customer service and a passion for design, he has joined the Building Plan Approval team to support site reporting, prepare service protection (peg out) reports, and manage on-site works. We are excited to welcome Josh and his skills to the team.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: Going for drives along the coast and spending time with my family.

Harry has been with our MGP field team, MGP Inspect, for over four years and has recently joined the BPA office team to assist with the management of BPA projects. With a background in plumbing and certifications in confined space work, Sydney Water asset management, and Flow Isolation Flow Management, Harry brings valuable expertise and is a great asset to the team.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: spending time with my wife (newly married), and hanging out with friends.

Sydney Water Junior Designer

Vasik enjoys technical drawing and documentation and brings a strong attention to detail to the Sydney Water design team. Currently studying Civil Engineering at university, he is a very capable and valued member of the team, contributing both skill and enthusiasm to every project.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: studying (final year of Civil Engineering at UTS) or competing in tennis tournaments.

MGP Inspect Team: Our experienced MGP Inspect team is out on the road locating Sydney Water assets and completing inspections, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Marc: MGP’s MD, Marc, often joins the team on site, providing reliable service and sharing his wealth of industry knowledge.

Jeremy: Taking over from Harry (now in the office), Jeremy brings his enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills to the field team.

Charlie: Our four-legged team member, Charlie, has been with MGP Inspect for over 12 years. Always enthusiastic, and fond of treats, she’s a beloved part of the team.

Lesley Nicol
Consultant
Senior WSC Designer

As a Chartered Professional Engineer, and Member of Institute of Engineers Australia, Lesley has a wealth of experience working in the UK, Dubai and Australia as a Civil Engineer.  Lesley competently managed and grew the Building Plan Approval team, and in 2017 moved into the WSC Design team for the Major and Minor Works and Sydney Water Section 73 certification.  She managed and trained the Section 73 team for 7 years. Lesley continues to work for MGP in a consultant role.

When I’m not working (or running around after my 3 kids at various sporting events) you’ll find me: walking my beautiful dog along various stunning coastal walks.

Alex Cogley
Business Manager

Alex joined MGP as our Business Manager in 2015. With a strong background in marketing and small business management, she came on board to support and help grow MGP. Alex is responsible for HR, marketing, tenders, new business development, day-to-day operations, and providing essential support to the Directors.

When I’m not working (or running around after my 3 kids): bush walking with my 2 dogs, teaching and practicing yoga or enjoying a good dance.

Michelle Coates
Accounts

Michelle is a highly experienced bookkeeper who has been managing MGP’s finances for nearly 20 years. She is extremely capable, reliable, and integral to the smooth running of the company’s financial operations.

When I’m not working you’ll find me: at the gym, bushwalking and spending time with my family.

Amanda Mastroianni
Finance & Admin Coordinator

Amanda brings extensive experience and a friendly, reliable approach to her role. She provides essential support to the finance and admin team and takes care of managing debtors, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
