Western Sydney University - Bankstown

The new Bankstown campus forms part of the Western Sydney University growth strategy – an impressive program of works reshaping the University’s campus network, including establishing new vertical campuses within the growth centres of Western Sydney.

Located between Bankstown’s Council administration building, Library and Knowledge Centre, the campus will provide new jobs, educational opportunities and revitalise the heart of Bankstown.

In 2019 the MGP Sydney Water team worked on the design and approval for the relocation of the sewer to enable the development of a new multi level basement and 18 storey vertical campus.  Both our Section 73 and Building Plan Approval team assisted with this essential early works stage.

In 2020 we were engaged to complete the hydraulic design workshop drawings for the campus. A time pressured schedule was undertaken, coordinating with other services to ensure a successful delivery of the project.

The campus is set to open for teaching in early 2022.
